WEST JEFFERSON — Regency Properties has two new agents — Ashe natives Brandi Hurley and Melinda Poe, according to the realty office in West Jefferson.

Hurley said she is a former Westwood Elementary School teacher and Appalachian State University graduate, and a mother of two children with her husband, Cyrus. She has three dogs and two cats, and said she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fur babies.

“I also enjoy getting outside and seeing all that Ashe County has to offer,” Hurley said. “Each season in Ashe County is unique, and has something beautiful to showcase. With a hometown feel, great schools and a slower pace, this is the perfect spot to raise a family.”

Poe said she has more than 12 years of experience as a realtor, and was born and raised in Ashe County. She and her husband, Craig, have two sons who love sports and the outdoors.

“Due to my interest and knowledge of the area, I am offering to all my friends, neighbors and clients an exceptional service,” Poe said. “I will provide the highest level of professionalism through unparalleled service, reliability, honesty, enthusiastic and integrity in the field of your real estate needs.”
