WEST JEFFERSON — Following a 38-year career with Ashe County DSS, The Bryer Patch at 15 E. Second Street is Donna J. Weaver’s next professional endeavor.

Weaver said she opened shop in mid-June, offering interior design consulting and arrangements, furniture vignettes for sale, as well as custom floral arrangements, youth reading programs and a gallery for young artists to showcase and sell their work.

“I like to put things together,” Weaver said. “I’m just getting started.”

More information will be provided after The Bryer Patch’s Ashe County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony, scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10.
