Mountain View kindergartener bags first buck

WEST JEFFERSON — Six-year-old Carter Sebastian took his first deer Saturday, Sept. 26 in Laurel Springs. Sept. 26 was designated as ‘Youth Deer Hunting Day’ by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission. The Mountain View Elementary kindergartener bagged an eight-point buck with a 16-and-a-half-inch inside spread while hunting with his father, Matt Sebastian.
