Appalachian Worship Nights is back for 2020 beginning on March 14. We welcome back Covenant Worship Band from Greenville, NC. The band will lead the congregation in Worship at Appalachian Church. Creston United Methodist Church

Come worship with us at Creston UMC, also known as Worth Chapel, located at 160 Worth Chapel Road off N.C. 88 next to the Creston Volunteer Fire Department. Creston United Methodist Church will host a Community Easter Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday, April 12th at 7 a.m. The location will be Sunrise Overlook, Mount Jefferson State Natural Area. The service is free and open to the public. Immediately after the service, participants are invited to join us for breakfast at the Winner’s Circle. The church will also offer Bible study at 9:45 a.m. and worship service and communion starting at 11 a.m. at its Creston location next to the volunteer fire department. Midway Baptist Church announces that church member, Mary Jo Ball, is now cancer-free but has medical bills. To help with expenses, there will be a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on March 28 at 12:30 p.m. in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
